St Johns Walkies Dog Walking and Home Boarding Worcester

Where is St Johns Walkies located and what area do you cover?

St John’s Walkies is based in the St John's area of Worcester, a historic suburb located just west of the River Severn. While my dog walking service is limited to those within St. John's only, my customer base for home boarding covers a wide range of local neighbourhoods throughout the city, including St. John's, Dines Green, Henwick, Lower Wick, and Rushwick, as well as adjacent parts of Worcester city centre.

What is the maximum number of dogs do you accept for home boarding?

My Worcester City Council licence permits me to host a maximum of 4 guest dogs per day, alongside my 2 very friendly resident dogs. However, I highly value a calm, stress-free environment, so I rarely operate at full capacity.  In most cases, I generally only look after 2 guest dogs at any one time, bringing the total household group to 4 dogs. This lower ratio ensures that every dog receives lots of individual attention, dedicated play sessions, and quiet space to rest. By intentionally keeping my guest numbers small, I can focus entirely on providing a safe, comfortable, and tailored "home away from home" experience for your dog.

Is St Johns Walkies council licensed and insured?

Yes.  I have a licence from Worcester City Council number 24/04881/ANIACT.  I am 4-star rated which is the highest rating available at a first inspection.  My dog walking and home boarding services are fully insured.  I can show you this information at the meet & greet.

What should I pack for a home boarding stay?

Pack everything that you would if your dog was staying with a friend or family member. Bring their bed and a blanket, these will smell like home and give comfort.  Bring their food plus 10% extra for emergencies (in case you are delayed).  Bring their lunchtime snack or treat, and any medications they need.  Harnesses, coats, a collar with an ID tag.  I can provide you with a detailed list when I confirm your booking.
