Hello!
Hello, I’m Chrissy, the founder of St Johns Walkies.
Dogs have been a huge part of my life for as long as I can remember. I have a natural connection with animals and a genuine love for their companionship, individual personalities and the happiness they bring into our lives.
At home, my husband and I share our lives with our two beautiful Labradors who are very much part of our family. They bring us so much joy and have helped shape my understanding of just how important it is for dogs to feel loved, respected and understood as individuals.
In 2017, after my daughter started school, I decided to follow my passion and create St Johns Walkies. What began as a way of turning my love of dogs and the outdoors into something meaningful has grown into a journey that I feel incredibly proud of.
With nine years of experience, I have had the privilege of learning so much about dogs — from their different personalities and behaviours to the importance of patience, kindness and building trust. Every dog has their own unique character, and I believe taking the time to understand them is at the heart of providing great care.
I am passionate about continuing to learn and develop my knowledge so I can provide the highest standards possible. I regularly complete Continuing Professional Development (CPD) and keep up to date with guidance and best practices within the dog care industry.
I am a licensed home boarder with Worcester City Council, DBS checked, fully insured and up-to-date trained in Canine First Aid.
For me, dogs are not simply animals we share our homes with — they are cherished members of our families. I feel incredibly lucky to spend my days doing something I truly love, and I take great pride in caring for every dog with the same kindness, patience and compassion I would want for my own.
